Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product innovation aligned with market evolution
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future-focused technologies into development pipelines
- Lead scenario planning workshops to visualize and prepare for disruptive futures
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology planning
- Proven track record of developing successful future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend forecasting
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Portfolio published futurist analyses or innovation frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or similar (e.g., from University of Houston)
