Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic foresight framework for 2026-2031
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Create scenario-planning models for potential future market disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend analysis
- Manage an annual innovation incubation program for experimental initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (portfolio required)
- Experience with AI/ML ethics and responsible innovation frameworks
