Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners to co-create future-state solutions
- Produce executive briefings on disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with measurable ROI metrics
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor a team of 4 futurists and design thinkers
- Publish quarterly trend reports for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized solutions
- Expertise in emerging technologies (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS from APF)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation publications
- Experience with innovation methodologies (Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
