Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ tech disruptions across AI, biotech, and quantum domains
- Develop cross-impact matrices mapping emerging technologies to market opportunities
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives
- Produce annual 'Futurescape' reports with strategic recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Represent the company at global innovation summits and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary foresight methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or societal transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and cross-impact modeling
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex uncertainty
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi methods, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
