Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030 markets
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 business objectives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board for strategic decision-making
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Establish KPIs to track innovation pipeline success and ROI
- Represent company at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (AI, blockchain, biotech, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Executive presence with strong board-level presentation skills
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in futures research (e.g., CFRA, APF) preferred
