Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive trends through 2030
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives across 5+ business units
- Author annual Future State reports with data-driven strategic recommendations
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio focused on exponential technologies
- Present at industry conferences on future-of-work implications
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
- Integrate AI/ML forecasting models into strategic planning processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futures research, or innovation leadership
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or MBA with tech focus
- Proven track record of implementing future-oriented strategies in Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, bio-convergence
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP from APF preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals
- Experience with futures mapping tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
