- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Identify and partner with emerging technology startups in key verticals
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences (e.g., Davos, South by Southwest)
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with proven future-planning impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience leading strategic initiatives in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Strong network with futurist communities (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
