Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks (scenario planning, trend analysis, impact assessments)
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Design and facilitate immersive foresight workshops for stakeholders across global markets
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports on future trends and their business implications
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist networks, academic partners, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Business Strategy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic roadmaps demonstrating impact
- Experience facilitating workshops and executive strategy sessions in Fortune 500 environments
