Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technology and societal shifts
- Develop strategic frameworks for market disruption and competitive advantage
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing products and services
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build cross-functional innovation pipelines with engineering and design teams
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional scenario modeling and trend analysis capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Experience with Delphi methods and cross-cultural trend mapping
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Track record of influencing organizational strategy with future-focused insights
