Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for board-level strategic decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Partner with R&D to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Quantify future market risks/opportunities through data modeling and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and socio-technical systems
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or emerging tech
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
