Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (quantum computing, climate tech, neuro interfaces) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026
- Develop predictive models for market disruption across healthcare, energy, and transportation sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for alternative futures
- Produce horizon-scanning reports on emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact trajectories
- Design innovation frameworks for R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Advortise on policy implications of breakthrough technologies to regulatory bodies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in trend analysis using tools like Delphi method or causal layered analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating futures projects with measurable impact
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum AI)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
