Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for the executive board on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-vision priorities
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups and partnerships for portfolio expansion
- Author thought leadership content positioning InnovateFutures as the 2026 innovation authority
- Design and implement organizational resilience strategies for systemic risks
- Manage a $500K innovation incubation fund for 2026-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience briefing C-suite executives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published author or keynote speaker on future trends topics
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, Palisade)
