Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Produce quarterly Future Impact Reports synthesizing geopolitical, technological, and socioeconomic signals affecting our industry verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to co-develop next-generation solutions
- Present futures intelligence to executive leadership and Board of Directors with actionable recommendations
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts and drive continuous innovation in foresight methodologies
- Represent the company at global futures conferences and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futures research, or corporate innovation with demonstrable impact on 5+ year planning horizons
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related quantitative field
- Expertise in emerging technologies: Generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Proven ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Published thought leadership in futures forecasting or strategic foresight (white papers, journals, books)
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis, and scenario planning software
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies or government agencies on long-term transformation
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year predictions with documented business impact
