What You'll Achieve:
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year market impact
- Develop strategic frameworks integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation with business objectives
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
Responsibilities
- Conduct technology trend analysis across 15+ emerging domains including neural interfaces and ambient computing
- Architect 10-year innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify moonshot opportunities
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for industry publications
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into development cycles
- Manage external relationships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present quarterly future-state briefings to the board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of mapping technological convergence scenarios
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Experience leading global innovation teams across 3+ time zones
