Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech) and assess commercial viability
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into corporate vision
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and industry innovation partners
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 10+ year impact potential
- Mentor next-gen engineers and futurists through internal innovation programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futures/foresight roles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech products
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical scenarios
- Published author in leading tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting models
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for emerging technologies
