Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of public facilities and infrastructure in Long Beach.
- Manage public records and ensure strict compliance with state and federal government regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance are met.
- Collaborate with local community leaders and stakeholders to address public concerns effectively.
- Prepare detailed reports, budgets, and proposals for departmental review and approval.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of public service employees.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and coordinate response efforts during critical incidents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government administration, public works, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Florida state government policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government database management systems.
- Valid Florida Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
