Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate government records and filing systems in compliance with local regulations.
- Process incoming mail, emails, and public inquiries with high professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist in data entry tasks, including reporting on departmental metrics and statistics.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for department heads and government officials.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and reports as required by senior management.
- Ensure the reception area and office spaces are organized and presentable.
- Support special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or government-related setting is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
