Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate public records and digital database systems with strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens, vendors, and internal staff via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute complex reports, memos, and correspondence for department leadership.
- Process administrative functions including filing, scheduling appointments, and performing high-volume data entry.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal government regulations and departmental policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline office operations and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or government office setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new database software quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professionalism.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive government information.
- Must be able to work a standard 40-hour workweek, including occasional evening or weekend shifts if required.
