In this role, you will support daily operations within our state office, ensuring that information is processed accurately and efficiently. You will be the face of our organization, interacting with the public and assisting with various administrative tasks. No prior government experience is required; we provide on-the-job training to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize physical and digital filing systems for department records.
- Greet visitors and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Process incoming mail, emails, and internal documents with high accuracy.
- Assist in data entry and maintaining up-to-date databases.
- Answer telephone inquiries and provide general information to the public.
- Prepare routine reports and compile statistical data as needed.
- Support special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a background check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation is required.
