Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume inquiries from the public via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information regarding city services.
- Process and verify government applications, permits, and documentation with strict attention to confidentiality and compliance.
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications to ensure workflow efficiency and timely project completion.
- Maintain and update digital and physical records, ensuring data integrity for future audits.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, memos, and presentations for city leadership.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government-specific databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulations into plain language.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is highly preferred for this San Antonio location.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for community events.
