Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential government records with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate public-facing communications and citizen inquiries
- Support budget tracking and procurement documentation processes
- Prepare detailed reports for city council meetings and public hearings
- Assist in implementing emergency response protocols
- Liaise with federal, state, and local government agencies
- Train temporary staff on administrative procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years government or public administration experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government databases
- Ability to obtain security clearance within 30 days
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- U.S. citizenship required
