Responsibilities
- Manage departmental records, documents, and confidential information with strict compliance to government protocols
- Coordinate public inquiries, scheduling, and communications for senior officials
- Prepare accurate reports, presentations, and statistical data for policy decisions
- Process procurement requests, contracts, and fiscal documentation
- Support grant applications and compliance reporting for state/federal programs
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects and stakeholder meetings
- Implement and maintain records management systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience in government or public sector administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and records management software
- Strong understanding of public records retention laws and FOIA procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Valid California Driver's License
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background clearance
