Responsibilities
- Oversee public health program implementation and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation for community health initiatives
- Analyze health data trends and develop evidence-based policy recommendations
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships with local government and non-profit organizations
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve public health objectives
- Prepare legislative reports and grant proposals for federal funding opportunities
- Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility in all public health services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of government or public sector administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Illinois public health regulations and compliance standards
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Tableau) and budget management software
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
