Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate complex policy proposals for City Council and mayoral initiatives
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft comprehensive reports for decision-makers
- Coordinate with 20+ city departments to align policy objectives
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community leaders and industry experts
- Present findings to elected officials and senior leadership
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for local governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of California local government operations
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to obtain security clearance
