Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate public records and government databases.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding city services, permits, and regulations.
- Prepare and review official correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate inter-departmental meetings and maintain detailed minutes.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal and state compliance standards.
- Process applications and handle sensitive confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a government or public administration setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
