Responsibilities
- Analyze complex government policies and operational data to recommend improvements
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for council members and department heads
- Conduct research on emerging public sector trends and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives
- Monitor budget allocations and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Develop performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness
- Represent the city in community stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government or public sector roles
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, Tableau)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for policy documentation
- Certification in public administration or project management preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law and municipal regulations
- Valid Florida driver's license
