Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and research to support municipal policy development and strategic planning.
- Prepare clear, concise, and data-driven reports, briefings, and presentations for city officials and the public.
- Collaborate with cross-functional interdepartmental teams to identify operational efficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting standards.
- Manage stakeholder communications to ensure transparency, engagement, and timely dissemination of information.
- Assist in the evaluation of grant programs and funding allocations to maximize community impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in government analysis, public policy, or a related sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, budgeting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
