Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislative and economic data to support state policy development and budgeting processes.
- Prepare comprehensive written reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior state officials and stakeholders.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing public programs.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and facilitate communication between government agencies and the private sector.
- Maintain and update internal databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting metrics.
- Assist in the planning and execution of public outreach campaigns and program evaluations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Economics, Political Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government, public policy, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of Florida state government structure and legislative processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical data for diverse audiences.
