Responsibilities
- Monitor federal/state/local regulations for municipal projects
- Audit departmental processes to ensure compliance with HUD and EPA standards
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for city council and oversight committees
- Train staff on regulatory updates and procedural changes
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory agencies during inspections
- Implement corrective action plans for compliance gaps
- Maintain digital compliance documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government compliance or auditing
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Proficiency with municipal software (SAP, Oracle Public Sector)
- Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Sunshine Act and FOIA regulations
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- US citizenship and valid Pennsylvania driver's license
