Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale municipal datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for city improvement.
- Prepare high-level executive reports and presentations for the City Council and public stakeholders.
- Collaborate with urban planners and policy makers to translate data into strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal transparency laws and data privacy regulations.
- Maintain and upgrade our GIS systems and database infrastructure to support real-time decision-making.
- Conduct internal audits to assess the efficiency of current government programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a government, municipal, or public sector environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Tableau) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of government workflow, procurement processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for government clearance.
