Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to inform policy decisions and public service improvements
- Create interactive dashboards and reports for state agencies using SQL and Tableau
- Ensure compliance with government data security protocols (FISMA/HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
- Present findings to stakeholders through executive summaries and visualizations
- Monitor KPIs to measure program effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities
- Maintain documentation of data processes and methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or public sector data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with Tennessee state regulations and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
