Responsibilities
- Provide High-Quality Customer Service: Assist visitors and citizens with inquiries, direct them to the appropriate departments, and ensure a welcoming environment at government facilities.
- Process Administrative Documents: Accurately review, verify, and file applications, permits, and public records according to strict government regulations.
- Manage Data Entry: Input and maintain accurate data in digital databases and filing systems to support departmental operations and reporting.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Draft, proofread, and distribute internal memos, public notices, and official correspondence to ensure clear communication.
- Support Special Projects: Assist senior staff with research, data analysis, and coordination of inter-departmental projects to improve efficiency.
- Monitor Compliance: Ensure all processes adhere to local, state, and federal government policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new government software systems.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Requirements: Must be able to pass a standard background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
