Your Mission:
As an IT Specialist, you will ensure the integrity, security, and availability of our government systems, supporting thousands of city employees.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems across government facilities.
- Provide tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users.
- Monitor network performance and implement security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate system logs.
- Ensure compliance with city and federal IT standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network topology.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are highly preferred.
