Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the integrity of federal information systems, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users across multiple federal agencies.
- Implement and monitor network security measures to comply with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and configuration changes on servers and workstations.
- Document system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures for future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system improvements and automation opportunities.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- 5+ years of experience in IT system administration and network support.
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
