Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the agency's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive government data.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software technical issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware procurement, installation, and maintenance.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state government IT regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Document technical procedures and provide user training to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related government role.
- Strong knowledge of government compliance frameworks such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP.
