Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical modeling tools
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for executive leadership and congressional oversight
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support homeland security and defense operations
- Present findings through executive briefings and written technical documentation
- Identify data anomalies requiring investigation by federal auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (e.g., CDC, DHS, or DoD databases)
- Expertise in SQL, R/Python, and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance within 90 days
- Knowledge of federal procurement processes and budgetary data structures
- Experience with geospatial analysis and GIS mapping technologies
