Responsibilities
- Perform daily administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and record management for government records.
- Maintain and clean public facilities and grounds to ensure a safe environment for citizens and employees.
- Assist in the coordination of public service projects and report on daily progress to supervisors.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal government regulations and safety protocols.
- Interact with the public and vendors professionally, resolving inquiries and facilitating smooth operations.
- Operate office machinery and standard software applications used for government reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency and service delivery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office or public service setting.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required for government employment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends if required by project needs.
