Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas to prevent crime and ensure public safety during overnight hours
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to security alerts and emergency situations
- Document incidents and prepare detailed reports following established government protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical operations and investigations
- Enforce city ordinances and provide assistance to citizens during nighttime emergencies
- Conduct security assessments of municipal facilities and infrastructure
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) and weekends
- Strong observational skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in incident reporting and security systems
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background clearance
- Previous security or law enforcement experience highly desirable
