Responsibilities
- Receive and direct visitors to appropriate departments with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the correct staff member efficiently.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and documents in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for both digital and physical records.
- Assist the administrative team with data entry, report generation, and basic research.
- Prepare meeting rooms and refreshments for public and staff gatherings.
- Provide general information to citizens regarding City services and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous office or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Reliable transportation is required.
