Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of government operations and public service workflows to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports, policy briefs, and presentations for executive leadership and legislative bodies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal government policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions for state projects.
- Monitor budget allocations and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility within the department.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and communicate project milestones effectively.
- Oversee the documentation of processes and maintain an accurate digital record of all government records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government, public sector, or a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Tableau) and government case management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of Ohio state government processes and federal compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
