Responsibilities
- Analyze complex government datasets to identify trends and optimize departmental workflows.
- Collaborate with senior officials to develop strategies that improve service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local compliance regulations and standards.
- Prepare high-level reports and presentations for executive leadership and legislative bodies.
- Maintain and update internal databases to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff regarding new government software and compliance protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or government operations.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Strong understanding of California state government procurement and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Valid California Driver’s License and willingness to travel to various county facilities.
