Responsibilities
- Analyze government data and workflow processes during weekend shifts to ensure uninterrupted public service.
- Collaborate with federal and state agencies to coordinate weekend emergency response protocols.
- Review and process permits, applications, and compliance documentation for the City of Oakland.
- Maintain secure databases and ensure data integrity for weekend reporting cycles.
- Assist in the implementation of new digital government initiatives.
- Provide technical support to internal staff regarding remote access and security protocols.
- Generate weekly performance reports for government stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in government operations, public sector, or local government roles.
- Must be available to work full-time weekend shifts (Friday to Sunday).
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local government compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government-specific software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
