- Manage daily pension fund operations including contributions, distributions, and record maintenance
- Ensure compliance with Tennessee state pension regulations and federal ERISA guidelines
- Process retirement applications and provide financial counseling to government employees
- Generate quarterly reports for fund performance analysis and stakeholder communications
- Collaborate with HR departments to update employee pension enrollment data
- Conduct periodic audits of pension accounts to maintain accuracy and security
- Stay current with pension legislation changes and implement necessary adjustments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in pension administration or financial management
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Pension Fund Professional (PFP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and Tennessee pension regulations
- Proficient in pension management software (e.g., Albridge, Millennium)
