Responsibilities
- Process and audit pension benefit requests and retirement applications with high accuracy.
- Conduct weekend audits of pension records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (ERISA).
- Provide exceptional customer service to retirees and beneficiaries regarding pension inquiries and status updates.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies in payroll and benefit calculations.
- Update member records in the pension management system and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports regarding weekend processing volume and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in pension administration, government benefits, or human resources is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERISA regulations and retirement plan structures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) on a rotational schedule.
