Responsibilities
- Process and review incoming pension and retirement benefit applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide exceptional customer service and guidance to employees regarding retirement eligibility and plan details.
- Maintain and update confidential employee records and pension documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual statistical reports and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
- Conduct orientations for new hires regarding pension plan structures and enrollment.
- Utilize database management systems to track case statuses and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
