- Customer Service: Provide high-quality service to retirees and applicants via phone and email, addressing inquiries regarding pension benefits and eligibility.
- Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain sensitive financial and personal data into state database systems.
- Record Management: Organize, file, and retrieve physical and digital records to ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Administrative Assistance: Support the team with general office duties, including scheduling and preparing meeting materials.
- Compliance: Ensure all processed paperwork adheres to strict state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or Public Administration is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required—we provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure accuracy in data entry and document review.
