Responsibilities
- Contract Administration: Manage the full lifecycle of federal contracts, including pre-award preparation, awarding, and closeout, ensuring strict adherence to FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) guidelines.
- Compliance & Reporting: Monitor contract performance, prepare required status reports, and ensure all deliverables meet federal quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for government clients and internal program managers, facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Financial Management: Review invoices, process payments, and track budget utilization to ensure financial health of contracts.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential contract risks and work with legal and program teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files and ensure all documentation is organized and retrievable.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred; High School diploma with significant relevant experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal contracting, government operations, or procurement.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and contract management software (e.g., Deltek GovWin, SAP Concur).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
