- Administer retirement plans for 5,000+ government employees
- Ensure compliance with ERISA and Nevada Revised Statutes
- Manage pension investments and actuarial reporting
- Conduct employee benefit enrollment and counseling
- Develop strategic funding models for long-term sustainability
- Collaborate with finance committee on policy recommendations
- Prepare annual reports for state auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of pension fund or public sector experience
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Knowledge of Nevada Public Employee Retirement System
- Experience with pension administration software
- Strong analytical and communication abilities
