Responsibilities
- Research and analyze local, state, and federal policy impacts on Memphis communities
- Develop actionable policy recommendations for city council and mayoral initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on urban development projects
- Monitor legislative changes and assess compliance requirements
- Engage with community organizations to gather public feedback
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in government or public sector analysis
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Tennessee state regulations and local governance
- Experience with public engagement processes and stakeholder management
