Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy data and draft legislative recommendations
- Coordinate with state agencies and community stakeholders
- Monitor legislative developments and regulatory changes
- Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership and public hearings
- Develop implementation strategies for new policies
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research projects
- Present findings to cross-functional teams and public forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R)
- Deep knowledge of New York State legislative processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Experience with public budgeting processes
- Certification in Policy Analysis (preferred)
